The Created Co. offers custom drinkware solutions for businesses and individuals. When they rebranded, they wanted to ensure their messaging paid homage to their community: creatives, entrepreneurs, adventurers, athletes, and philanthropists. Stratton Concepts helped them design an online publication that would celebrate their community while strengthening their brand identity.
Protect Our Winters leverages the outdoor industry to fight climate change at a policy level. Their 2018 economic report was an important opportunity to showcase how climate change is negatively impacting the individuals and geographic regions that rely on income from winter sports. Stratton Concepts worked with POW in the intermediate stages of the report to maximize audience impact. We restructured the report's organization to improve narrative flow, created a roadmap for production design, and provided technical editing for consistency, grammar, and clarity.
The Relationship Coffee Institute is a nonprofit organization that works to create long-term economic opportunities for smallholder farmers through the support of Bloomberg Philanthropies. To fulfill RCI's content management needs, Stratton Concepts coordinated the production of quarterly and annual reports, managed the organization's website and social media platforms, assisted with the drafting and editing of grants and proposals for funding, and contributed to a variety of other writing and design projects.
Planar, a Leyard company, installs display technology for clients across the globe. Stratton Concepts has contributed a number of case studies to the company's website, illustrating how Planar's unique display solutions deliver the highest performance even amidst challenging architecture, round-the-clock usage, and variable ambient lighting.
Many cafe owners overlook their food menus, not realizing that even simple menus can bring a major boost to profits. To draw more attention to this important part of coffee businesses, Fresh Cup dedicated an entire issue to food: optimizing menus, exploring kitchen design, breaking down the construction of breakfast sandwiches—and lots more. As editor of this issue, Stratton Concepts founder Ellie Bradley led the charge on editorial content, orchestrating an issue that was fun, informative, and aesthetically beautiful.
During her period as editor of Fresh Cup, Ellie also oversaw the production of the 2017 Café Encyclopedia—only the second edition in the magazine's twenty-five year history. The 2017 edition was designed to explore industry changes and serve as an educational resource for coffee and tea professionals. The encyclopedia included a comprehensive list of A–Z definitions, as well as a selection of foundational articles addressing industry basics, supplemented by pages of diagrams, illustrations, and cross references.
